導(dǎo)讀:9月19-20日,ESD2025可持續(xù)發(fā)展教育大會(huì)暨RAISE2025第八屆亞洲國(guó)際學(xué)校大會(huì)在寧夏銀川隆重舉行,大會(huì)以“踐行綠色教育,共創(chuàng)可持續(xù)未來”為主題,匯聚全球教育先鋒、政策決策者與科技,共同探索教育驅(qū)動(dòng)可持續(xù)變革的“中國(guó)方案”與亞洲路徑。

On September 19-20, the ESD2025 Education for Sustainable Development Conference & RAISE2025 the 8th Asia International Schools Conference was grandly held in Yinchuan, Ningxia. Under the theme "Practicing Green Education for a Sustainable Future," the conference brought together global education pioneers, policy makers, and technology leaders to explore the "Chinese Approach" and Asian pathways for education-driven sustainable transformation.

大會(huì)上,由英國(guó)科學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)創(chuàng)設(shè)的國(guó)際STEM科創(chuàng)項(xiàng)目CREST Awards為博恒橘郡國(guó)際課程中心頒授“國(guó)際科創(chuàng)素養(yǎng)教育中心”牌匾,博恒橘郡常務(wù)副校長(zhǎng)孔芳芳上臺(tái)接受牌匾。至此,博恒橘郡正式成為CREST Awards大中華區(qū)合作伙伴之一。

During the conference, the international STEM innovation project CREST Awards presented OCAHS with a plaque designating it as an "International STEM Literacy Education HUB". Ms. Veronica, Executive Vice Principal of OCAHS, accepted the plaque on stage. This marks OCAHS's official status as one of the CREST Awards partners in Greater China.

About Crest Awards

Crest Awards是由英國(guó)科學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)(BSA,British Science Association)于1986年創(chuàng)設(shè)的STEM項(xiàng)目,旨在鼓勵(lì)年輕人像科學(xué)家和工程師一樣思考和行動(dòng)。學(xué)生可以通過探究性的項(xiàng)目工作,將理論知識(shí)應(yīng)用到實(shí)際問題中,發(fā)揮好奇心和行動(dòng)力,不斷培養(yǎng)批判性思維、問題解決能力和創(chuàng)新思辨技能。

WHY OCAHS ?

Technology and innovation have always been hallmarks of OCAHS's approach to cultivating international talent. In March 2025, OCAHS upgraded and released the "OCAHS 4.0 Education System." This major innovation is OCAHS's proactive response to anticipated technological advancements over the next decade, the application of artificial intelligence, shifts in demand for popular majors and professions, and changes in the admissions criteria and talent selection metrics of world-renowned universities. It is also a crucial initiative to equip OCAHS students with future competitiveness and cutting-edge capabilities.

在課程設(shè)置上,開設(shè)了AI視覺識(shí)別、大語言數(shù)據(jù)處理、物聯(lián)網(wǎng)、腦科學(xué)與傳感器、3d打印與數(shù)字工程等前沿科創(chuàng)課程,并開設(shè)多個(gè)相關(guān)主題的PBL項(xiàng)目,培養(yǎng)橘郡學(xué)子的科技素養(yǎng)與創(chuàng)新思維,幫助他們?cè)跀?shù)字化時(shí)代脫穎而出。與此同時(shí),橘郡還在校內(nèi)為所有學(xué)生提供專利申請(qǐng)、獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)評(píng)定提交的全程輔導(dǎo)。

In terms of curriculum: A range of cutting-edge courses has been launched, including AI Visual Recognition, Large Language Data Processing, Internet of Things (IoT), Brain Science and Sensors, and 3D Printing & Digital Engineering. These are complemented by multiple PBL initiatives designed to cultivate technological literacy and innovative thinking among OCAHS students, empowering them to excel in the digital era. Additionally, the institution provides comprehensive on-campus guidance throughout the entire process from patent applications to award submissions for all students.

在專家資源上,邀請(qǐng)斯坦福大學(xué)教授、世界拔尖人工智能專家、斯坦福大學(xué)校友面試官Sanford Dickert教授擔(dān)任博恒橘郡STEM和AI項(xiàng)目的首席督導(dǎo),邀請(qǐng)阿拉巴馬大學(xué)機(jī)械工程博士許嘉祺擔(dān)任AI實(shí)驗(yàn)室指導(dǎo)專家。

In terms of expert resources: The school has invited Professor Sanford Dickert, a Stanford University professor, world-renowned AI expert, and Stanford alumni interviewer, to serve as the Chief Supervisor for OCAHS's STEM and AI projects. Dr. Xu Jiaqi, a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama, has been invited as the AI Laboratory Guidance Expert.

In terms of teaching management: A new AI smart learning system has been introduced, enabling multi-dimensional assessment of each student's learning process and personalized resource matching.

在硬件設(shè)施上,打造涵蓋大數(shù)據(jù)分析本地算力服務(wù)器、無人機(jī)訓(xùn)練平臺(tái)、多傳感器機(jī)械臂、生物電信號(hào)機(jī)器手、腦電接口頭環(huán)、視覺識(shí)別機(jī)器人、FDM3D打印機(jī)等前沿科技的多個(gè)AI工作坊,傳承硅谷科創(chuàng)基因,打造國(guó)際化前沿科技氛圍。

In terms of hardware facilities: Multiple AI workshops featuring cutting-edge technologies have been established, including local computing servers for big data analysis, drone training platforms, multi-sensor robotic arms, bioelectric signal robotic hands, EEG interface headbands, visual recognition robots, and FDM 3D printers. These initiatives inherit the Silicon Valley DNA to create an international ecosystem of frontier technology innovation.

在競(jìng)賽舞臺(tái)上,橘郡與CREATE美公賽亞太區(qū)組委會(huì)搭建CREATE美公賽舞臺(tái),發(fā)布了前沿的人工智能賽事技術(shù),推動(dòng)學(xué)校的科技教育,激發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)于計(jì)算機(jī)機(jī)器人和人工智能AI的興趣和創(chuàng)新能力。

In terms of competitions: OCAHS has collaborated with the CREATE Fair Asia-Pacific organizing committee to provide a platform for the CREATE Fair, unveiling advanced AI competition technologies, promoting the school's science and technology education, and stimulating students' interest and innovative capabilities in computer robotics and artificial intelligence.

此次得到CREST Awards授予“國(guó)際科創(chuàng)素養(yǎng)教育中心”,對(duì)于橘郡4.0教育體系來說,可謂是錦上添花。展望未來,橘郡將Crest Awards項(xiàng)目與現(xiàn)有的STEM和AI項(xiàng)目進(jìn)行融合,為學(xué)生們提供更多探索創(chuàng)意、開拓研究與展示其作品與創(chuàng)造力的平臺(tái),確保每位學(xué)生能夠參與到CREST Awards項(xiàng)目并從中受益。

The designation as an "International STEM Literacy Education HUB" by CREST Awards adds further luster to the OCAHS 4.0 Education System. Looking ahead, OCAHS will integrate the CREST Awards project with its existing STEM and AI programs, providing students with more platforms to explore ideas, conduct research, and showcase their work and creativity. This ensures every student can participate in and benefit from the CREST Awards project.
